As we head into the colder months, we adjust our own body rhythms to the rhythms of the earth. This is a season for dreaming, for allowing the seeds to rest and stratify in preparation for germination in the spring. This seems to be a fallow time but it is also a necessary time for the ground to rest as it quietly contains the seeds of spring.
Thus, this is prime time for our Dreaming with Earth three-part mentoring workshop at Lake Erie Institute. In this workshop, we allow our imagination free rein to percolate our dreams. These could be personal dreams or professional dreams. These could be public dreams or intensely private ones. This workshop will allow you to express your dreams and through our gathering community, perhaps find others who share similar dreams or can help support you in turning the dream into reality.
In Eat Pray Love, Elizabeth Gilbert muses that the oak tree is brought into creation by two forces: “the acorn…the seed which holds all the promise and potential…but also the future tree itself, which wants so badly to exist that it pulls the acorn into being.”
At Lake Erie Institute we believe that the oak tree might actually be dreaming of you too. As part of our group work, we do guided shamanic journeying work to listen to the dreams of the Earth.
The Cleveland workshop, and distance three-part series will include:
- Catch Your Dreams
- Find your Strengths
- Sprout the Seeds of Change
Together, these Skype workshops, along with the shared support of our group, are a powerful way of finding what is calling to you to help heal the Earth. Just as we dream of a more beautiful world (as Charles Eisenstein so beautifully writes), we also believe that the more beautiful world is dreaming of us.
