Cultivating Earth Intelligence Through Community Education
For Healing Our Personal, Public, and Planetary Spheres
About  Lake Erie Institute

My name is Liz Meacham. I am the founder and director of the Lake Erie Institute. It’s been my dream for 20 years to start an educational institute to bring visionary environmental thought and practices to Northeast Ohio, and beyond, through community education.

My inspiration for developing programs at the Lake Erie Institute is the result of two decades of personal practice, scholarship, and teaching in the fields of environment thought and spirituality.

2017 is the inaugural year of the Lake Erie Institute! I hope that you will become a part of this emerging earth-wisdom community. I look forward to seeing you at one of our spirit stirring, life honoring programs.
